Informance GmbH is engaged in the development and distribution of its own software products as well as the provision of related services. Informance products can be used on the basis of classic purchasing models (one-time license fees) or recurring fees for use as cloud services (SaaS).

2002

Founding of the company

Crisis! The .com bubble has burst, many well-known IT companies are in trouble. Others have disappeared from the market altogether. The two software developers Ing. Thomas "Tom" Seitz and Ing. Roman Ziehengraser did not say that: The two are full of ideas and found Informance.

2003

Global Player Platform

"Project - New" At Informance, you would never want to click this menu item, which in any way exists in any development environment. In the future, all IT systems that are delivered to customers should be based on a uniform system, the GlobalPlayer platform.

2004

The first product

If you ask Google for a "Content Management System" so in the DACH region alone about 200 providers are ejected. No reason for the Informance Team to say goodbye: Our first product - the Informance ONE Portal Server - is being created. And promptly finds the first customers.

2005

The first group customer

Top quality and good service pay off: Informance receives the first really large order from an internationally operating group. Based on the GlobalPlayer platform, a retail solution is being created for the Unicredit Group.

2008

Internationalization

"Austria is too small ..." - A bon mot used at that time. Informance was able to convince other internationally active customers and is consequently setting itself up internationally. On the occasion, the team also moves into a new office at a busy address: at the Vienna TwinTowers on the Wienerberg.
2008

Compliance Management by Informance

"Compliance comes first, then comes business." - No matter what you want, IT-based systems for compliance management are a must have for medium and large companies. In 2008, Informance will deliver the first such system in the form of an attractive intranet portal.
2013

The new Informance Office

Deja vu: The office is bursting at the seams again. The team, which has meanwhile grown to 13 employees, moves a new, more spacious office a few streets away. The good public connection for the employees with the line 67 was an important criterion.

2016

Informance = AI + ML

The plan for a self-driving car is discarded after some back and forth. There are simply too many of them (plans, mind you). Instead, from now on, Informance relies on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). However, not in the form of academic treatises or visionary slideshows but rather - in the style of Informance - with concrete new functions within existing BI and ERP and solutions.
2019

New website online

After 6 months of development, the new website goes online. Due to urgent customer projects, the work was interrupted again and again. But the own website now has features that were previously reserved for our customers ;-)
